LUX Architectural Steel Siding & Cladding
LUX Architectural Products manufactures premium steel siding, architectural cladding and soffit systems designed for contemporary residential, multi-family and commercial exteriors. The product line combines architectural metal profiles with woodgrain, textured, metallic and solid-colour finishes, allowing steel to be used for complete elevations or as a feature material alongside fibre-cement siding, stucco, masonry and other exterior finishes. LUX lists installations ranging from residential accent cladding to large commercial and multi-family projects across Canada and the United States.
Diamond Exteriors installs LUX architectural products throughout Kelowna and the Okanagan as part of custom homes, exterior renovations, new construction and larger coordinated exterior scopes. The system is particularly useful where a project calls for strong architectural lines, wood-look metal finishes or a durable modern cladding material that can continue into soffits and detailed exterior features.
LUX Siding Profiles and Architectural Systems
LUX is not a single siding profile. Its current product range includes Custom Cut V-Groove, LUXLAP V-Groove, LUX Soffit, Channel Siding, Random Plank, Metal Craft Series, Neo Lumber and Board + Batten, giving designers several ways to create different shadow lines, panel widths and architectural patterns.
The V-Groove family is one of LUX’s core steel siding systems and is available in multiple widths. LUXLAP builds on that system with an interlocking design intended to create long uninterrupted runs without conventional joiner trims or visible butt joints. The manufacturer identifies 24-gauge galvalume steel for LUXLAP panels and offers the system for both siding and soffit applications.
Random Plank creates varied panel widths and a more architectural, mid-century-inspired appearance, while Channel Siding uses deeper shadow lines for a stronger linear effect. The Metal Craft Series uses folded steel profiles for feature walls or full-building cladding, while Neo Lumber creates steel architectural members in custom dimensions for screens, slats and other design features.
Woodgrain, Textured and Solid Finishes
LUX offers a wide selection of finishes including woodgrains, textured colours, metallic finishes and solid colours. The manufacturer states that its colour system uses Kynar 500 PVDF finishes and includes a 40-year finish warranty. Actual colour and pattern can vary by product and production batch, so physical samples should be reviewed during material selection.
The West Coast Natural Series is designed to reproduce the appearance of natural cedar using digitally reproduced woodgrain patterns applied to steel. This allows projects to achieve a warmer wood-inspired appearance while retaining the characteristics of an architectural metal cladding system.
LUX Soffit Systems
LUX also manufactures coordinated smooth and vented steel soffit systems. Its V-Groove soffit panels can be installed parallel or perpendicular to the roofline and are available in smooth or ventilated configurations. LUX identifies 24-gauge galvalume steel for these panels and offers both 4-inch and 6-inch V-Groove formats.
Using the same product family for wall cladding and soffit can create consistent architectural lines across exterior walls, roof overhangs, entrances and covered areas. Diamond Exteriors can coordinate these elements with fascia, flashings, rainscreen details and the surrounding wall assembly as part of the complete exterior scope.
Canadian Certification and Exterior Performance
LUX states that its steel cladding carries CCMC evaluation number 14137-L through the Canadian Construction Materials Centre and conforms to CAN/CGSB-93.4-92 requirements identified by the manufacturer. This provides a recognized Canadian evaluation reference for designers, builders and project teams specifying the system.
For exterior renovation and new-construction projects, product selection still needs to account for the specific profile, substrate, wall assembly, ventilation, flashing conditions and project design. The cladding is only one component of the finished exterior system.
LUX Architectural Products in Kelowna & the Okanagan
LUX works particularly well on modern custom homes, multi-material renovations, multi-family buildings and commercial exteriors where the design calls for durable steel cladding, strong shadow lines or realistic wood-look finishes. Depending on the project, it can be used across full elevations or selectively on entrances, upper floors, soffits, garages, feature walls and architectural accents.
Current colours, profiles, specifications and warranty conditions should always be confirmed for the exact LUX product selected for the project because available systems and finishes can change over time.
