ACM & Metal Composite Cladding Panels

Aluminum composite material, commonly referred to as ACM, is used to create smooth, highly architectural exterior panel façades. The material is especially common on contemporary commercial buildings, modern homes, entrances, feature walls and projects where large clean surfaces and precise panel geometry are part of the design.

ACM and related metal composite materials are available in a large range of finishes, including solid colours, metallics, matte finishes, anodized appearances, timber patterns, stone-inspired finishes and other specialty surfaces.

Panelized systems allow designers to create consistent joint patterns around windows, doors, corners and building transitions. Fabricated panels can also be used for columns, canopies, soffits and other architectural elements.

Different composite-panel products use different core materials, coatings and tested wall assemblies. Fire-performance and code requirements therefore need to be reviewed for the exact panel system rather than assuming that all ACM products have identical characteristics.
